The Bible is the Word of God telling us the wonderful story of our salvation.
God has created us and the universe in which we live.
Our rebellion against God, our desire to be our own god, is the cause of
injustice, suffering, and death in the world. Sin lies at the root of mankind's major problems.
Jesus Christ has ended our rebellion against God by bearing our sins on the cross. All who trust him as Lord and Savior are friends of God who will inherit eternal life.
The Holy Spirit motivates us to end our rebellion and to come to Jesus Christ. The Spirit uses God's Word, Holy Baptism, and the Lord's Supper to nourish and strengthen our faith.
Christians celebrate their salvation and grow in faith and love together in the Church. The Church is the body of Christ, the faithful gathering of forgiven believers.
Because of God's love for us, we are motivated to love and serve God and our fellow man, to care for the world, to protect and serve the weak and those in need.
Christ, the Lord of heaven and earth, will come again to judge all people.
